In this tutorial, you will open **Groups** and view one WhatsApp group.

**Time needed:** 8 minutes

## Before you start

Make sure:

- You are logged in to Wabot.
- The connected WhatsApp number is already in a group.

> **Groups** are real WhatsApp groups. They are not **Broadcast Lists**.

## 1. Open Groups

On the left menu, open **Audience Hub**.

Click **Groups**.

  <div class="doc-shot-ph-frame" role="img" aria-label="Groups">
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-kicker">Screenshot example</span>
    <strong class="doc-shot-ph-title">Groups</strong>
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-hint">Clean UI. No real names, emails, or chats.</span>
  </div>
</figure>

## 2. Choose the account

Select the WhatsApp account.

You can leave the type filter on **All Groups**, or pick **Communities**, **Announcement Only**, or **Open Groups**.

## 3. View group details

Click a group, or use **View group details**.

Check the group name, **Description**, **Created**, and **Type** (**Open Group**, **Announce Only**, or **Community**).

The member list shows participants. You can search members on that dialog.

    <span class="doc-shot-ph-kicker">Screenshot example</span>
    <strong class="doc-shot-ph-title">Group details and members</strong>
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-hint">Clean UI. No real names, emails, or chats.</span>
  </div>
</figure>

## 4. Export only if you need a file

Back on the list, you can **Export groups** when you need a spreadsheet. Skip this if you only wanted to look.

## Make sure it worked

This tutorial worked when:

- **Groups** lists at least one group for that account.
- **View group details** shows the name and members.
- You know this is a WhatsApp group, not a Broadcast List.

## If it didn’t work

### The list is empty

- Confirm the connected number is in a WhatsApp group.
- Confirm you selected the correct account.
- Set the type filter back to **All Groups**.

### You wanted to send a campaign to numbers

Use [Create a Broadcast List](/contacts/broadcast-list), then **Broadcast**. **Groups** only shows WhatsApp groups.

### You cannot export members

Export needs the groups / participant permission. Ask an owner if the button is missing.

## Next

Audience Hub is ready for people, lists, labels, and groups. You can go back to the list, or send a campaign from **Broadcast**.
