In this tutorial, you will read one Broadcast **Report**, then export **Failed** or **Not Reply** contacts into a group.

**Time needed:** 10 minutes

## Before you start

Make sure:

- You are logged in to Wabot.
- You already have a Broadcast that has been sent.
- You can see **Export to Group**. You need audience permission.

> **Export to Group** saves a list. It does not send a new Broadcast. To send again, use [Retarget](/features/broadcast/retarget).

## 1. Open the report

On the left menu, click **Broadcast**.

Click **Report** on the campaign you want to check.

  <div class="doc-shot-ph-frame" role="img" aria-label="Report overview">
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-kicker">Screenshot example</span>
    <strong class="doc-shot-ph-title">Report overview</strong>
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-hint">Clean UI. No real names, emails, or chats.</span>
  </div>
</figure>

## 2. Read the Overview

Stay on **Overview**.

Check **Sent**, **Failed**, and — on Official API — **Delivered** and **Read**.

If the campaign used a Button, List, or Poll, check the reply breakdown next to the message preview.

## 3. Filter Engagement

Click **Engagement**.

Search a phone number, or filter by status.

For this tutorial, choose **Failed** or **Not Reply**.

If a row failed, click the eye icon to read the error.

  <div class="doc-shot-ph-frame" role="img" aria-label="Engagement filter">
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-kicker">Screenshot example</span>
    <strong class="doc-shot-ph-title">Engagement filter</strong>
    <span class="doc-shot-ph-hint">Clean UI. No real names, emails, or chats.</span>
  </div>
</figure>

## 4. Export to a new group

Click **Export to Group**.

Under **Recipients to Export**, keep **Failed** or **Not Reply**.

Select **Create New Group**.

Enter a **Group Name**.

**Example:** `Raya Promo — Failed`

Click **Export**.

## 5. Confirm the group

Open **Contacts**, then open the new group.

The people in that group should match the filtered report.

You can now use this group in a later Broadcast under **Include Groups**.

## Make sure it worked

This tutorial worked when:

- **Overview** shows the delivery counts.
- **Engagement** shows only the status you filtered.
- A new contact group appears with those recipients.
- The group count matches the export estimate.

## If it didn’t work

### Export to Group is missing

You need audience permission.

### The group has the wrong people

The export follows the status you picked, not the search box. Set **Recipients to Export** again.

### You wanted to send again, not save a list

Use **Retarget**, not **Export to Group**.

### You need a spreadsheet

Click **Export** for a file download. That is separate from **Export to Group**.

## Next

You can now reuse that group, or tidy your saved message layouts in **Templates**.
