In this tutorial, you will add one **Telegram Notification** destination.

**Time needed:** 10 minutes

## Before you start

Make sure:

- You are logged in to Wabot.
- You have the Telegram chat or channel that should receive alerts.

> Treat Chat IDs as private. Confirm the destination before you turn forwarding on.

## 1. Open Integrations

On the left menu, click **Integrations**.

## 2. Open Telegram Notification

Find **Telegram Notification**.

Click **Settings**.

## 3. Add a destination

Click **Add New**.

Enter a name you will recognise, such as `Sales alerts`.

Add at least one Telegram Chat ID. Use **Get Chat ID** if the dialog shows it.

Click **Save**.

## Make sure it worked

This tutorial worked when:

- The new destination appears in the Telegram list.

## If it didn’t work

### Get Chat ID does nothing

Ask the person who owns the Telegram chat to send you the Chat ID. Do not guess.

### You saved the wrong chat

Open **Settings** again. Edit or delete that destination before you turn forwarding on.
