In this tutorial, you will upload one file to **File Manager**.

**Time needed:** 8 minutes

## Before you start

Make sure:

- You are logged in to Wabot.
- You have a small image or PDF ready.

> **File Manager** is under **GENERAL**. Upload here first, then pick the file in Live Chat, Broadcast, or Chatbots.

## 1. Open File Manager

On the left menu, click **File Manager**.

</figure>

## 2. Create a folder (optional)

Click **New Folder**.

Enter a name you will recognise, such as `My Folder`.

</figure>

## 3. Upload the file

Click **Upload**.

In **Upload Files**, drop a file or click the dropzone.

The dropzone says **Supports images, videos, documents & more**.

Wait until the upload finishes.

## Make sure it worked

This tutorial worked when:

- The file appears in **File Manager**.
- You can preview it.
- There is no upload error.

## If it didn’t work

### Upload is missing

You need upload permission. Ask the team owner.

### The file is too large

Use a smaller file. Your plan sets the max size. Check storage on the **Dashboard**.

### You wanted to send it now

Open **Live Chat** or **Broadcast**, then pick this file from **File Manager**. Do not send from this page.

## Next

The file is stored. Next, check whether a message is waiting or failed in the queue.
