In this tutorial, you will update your name and timezone in **Settings**.

**Time needed:** 8 minutes

## Before you start

Make sure:

- You are logged in to Wabot.

> **Settings** is under **SUPPORT**. This is your user profile, not Team Settings.

## 1. Open Settings

On the left menu, under **SUPPORT**, click **Settings**.

## 2. Update Profile

Open **Profile**.

Update your name or username. Upload an avatar if you want.

Save.

Your email may not be editable here.

## 3. Set Preferences

Open **Preferences**.

Choose language and timezone.

Save.

Use the timezone you work in before you schedule a Broadcast.

## Make sure it worked

This tutorial worked when:

- **Profile** saved without an error.
- **Preferences** shows the timezone you picked.

## If it didn’t work

### You wanted to change your password

Open **Security**. Enter the current password and a new password, then save.

### You wanted to invite a teammate

Use [Invite a teammate](/tools/team-settings). That is **Team Settings**, not this page.

### Owner tabs are missing

**Notifications**, **Purchase History**, and **Activity Log** show only for the team owner.
